As I long to live

Dancing through your memory

Entranced by the exquisite beauty

Of your being, your entity

You’re always there beside me

Through the tough and the rough

Engulfing my inner being

As I go through the day, seeing

The mirrors I smash

With reckless anguish

Your presence is like a pillow

Cushioning my selfish ego

Trapped inside a heartless cave

You’re heroic spirit

Battles the waves

Releasing me out, by being brave

Your bold character

Opens doors in my heart

My gratitude pours freely

Like a stream of gold stars.

Silent whispers of stars

They watch over you

Listen and glisten

Locking your secrets

Glimmering

Gold sparks –

They dance from afar

To the sound of Destiny

Your starry dreams

Encased with gold lining

Carried by the universe

Within the pocket of your shining Star.
