A song I wrote ‘Closer to me’

Here is a song I wrote for my sister Sarah. This isn’t an official recording however it does have sentimental value because not only was it a first ‘tester’ recording, I sang my heart and soul into every word as though to sing it to Sarah. Accompanied by an experienced musician, Heidi Wakayama, she helped alot with the harmonies. I hope to sing this song with my sisters Miwha and Deborah some time soon hopefully. Enjoy x

A poem for Munich

Mountains shape the landscape

With their bold presence

A silence resonating with mother nature.

Dignified they stand,

A mighty chorus sending vibrations of nature’s song from their foundations to their peaks; echoes fall into pockets of blue space

Pillowy clouds of white serenade gracefully across, moving to the rhythm of winds,

So soft, blowing kisses of comfort in midst of solitude.

Peacefully, the sun sets; coloured strokes of pinks, purples and orange hues painted against the horizon.

The horizon of which I am a part.

A poem for Easter

Rise.

As the sun rises, your spirit shimmers

The warmth seeps through

Window panes of your soul

A feeling of bliss.

The sphere of our home keeps turning

As do we, serenading our way

Round the ins and outs of the maze

Hearts enshrined within

Kept warm from love

The sun sets

As do we.

Rise.

The full circle begins.
